I make faces when I dance
My studio is rarely quiet when I work. Podcasts, audio books and music - mostly music. That’s probably why most of my work is influenced by songs.
The Mastersons, the duo of Chris Masterson and Eleanor Whitmore, became instant favorites the first time I heard them. It’s really no surprise that I would eventually make a piece that their music inspired.
If you’ve ever been told how much prettier you would be if you smiled, you get this song. I think Eleanor speaks for many of us when she sings Don’t Tell Me to Smile.
Better photos and description will follow elsewhere on this site, but for now here is Don’t Tell Me to Smile
